Writing

Jamie wrote about POAP from the first drops in 2021 to the Airport Rally in 2026: 209 posts and Weekly Thing issues. The five that matter most come first. Jamie also kept a list of what to ask POAP for, and what came of it: What Jamie told POAP.

Five pieces

  1. POAP Wishlist (2023-01-14). The main product memo: integration hooks (RSS and webhooks), signed and location-based events, and wallet-free onboarding. POAP later shipped the onboarding and location ideas. RSS never came from POAP, so Jamie built it.
  2. POAP as a Business (2023-01-16), published the same day as Premium Features for POAP Issuers and POAP Extensions. A full pricing and packaging proposal: Collector at $3 a month, Pro at $20, Studio at $500 an event, Business, and a free Non-Profit tier. Collections, one of the ideas, shipped a year later.
  3. New POAP Onboarding Process (2024-01-14). Exactly one year after the wishlist: POAP shipped email reservations that prompt the holder to act, and an embedded wallet with an onpoap.eth name.
  4. Vibe Coding POAP2RSS (2025-07-06), after POAP + RSS = Awesome? (2025-01-05). Tired of waiting for RSS, Jamie specified it and built poap2rss.com with AI coding tools. It went on to power the 612 Challenge and Airport Rally sites.
  5. 612 POAP Challenge: Collect them all! (2025-05-31). Once location drops existed, Jamie turned them into a summer scavenger hunt around Minneapolis. That led to the Airport POAP Rally Website (2025-12-26) and the Flight Path globe (WT342).
