About

Proof of Attendance Protocol, 2019 to 2026. POAP began as about a hundred badges for hackathon attendees at ETHDenver in February 2019, became a company, minted some 7.6 million tokens for about 46,000 issuers, entered maintenance mode on 2026-03-16, created its last drop on 2026-07-31 and announced its wind-down on 2026-08-03. The tokens stay on-chain.

This site reads the four letters its own way. A collection of POAPs is proof of a person: where they went, what they cared about, who they stood next to. Jamie always said POAP was about people and not money, unlike so much of crypto. In Jamie's words from 2023, "POAPs are meant to collect and curate memories, not make money."

The data

Everything here comes from jthingelstad/poap-archive, a capture made on 2026-10-17 from the POAP Compass API, the Gnosis chain, POAP's asset host, thingelstad.com and the official snapshot at poaparchive.com. Addresses and ENS names are public on-chain and are shown as POAP showed them: the primary ENS name where one is set, the shortened address otherwise.
